Breeders' Cup, Tracks in Voucher Promotion

The Breeders’ Cup and 17 racetracks have launched a new digital initiative that provides all registered fans with a mystery “voucher,” including one that will be worth $500,000.

Each registered fan will receive a voucher worth at least $2, with some worth as much as $5 to $500, with one fan to be randomly assigned a $500,000 voucher through the $500K Pay Day promotion.

Contestants will receive their digital voucher via email after registering online and must take the voucher to their participating track Nov. 5, the second of two World Championships days, to see what it’s worth, according to an announcement from Breeders’ Cup.

Registration for the promotion started Oct. 19 and remains open for the next two weeks, closing Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Tracks will also advertise the promotion through their websites, social media outlets, track programs, and other marketing channels in order to increase participation.
