Rizzi to Sez Who in New York

Prominent Florida stallion Rizzi is being transferred from Richard Simon's Sez Who Thoroughbreds near Ocala, Fla., to Sez Who North near Stillwater, N.Y. Ten-year-old Rizzi, who ranks among the nation's leading third-crop sires by career progeny earnings, will stand in 2002 for $10,000, up from his 2001 fee of $7,000.

Rizzi (Afleet--Top Wish, by Topsider) is represented by the earners of $2.3 million this year from his current lifetime total of $5.3 million. Five of his nine stakes winner are added-money winners this year, including Richly Blended, victor in both the Gotham (gr. III) and Withers (gr. III) Stakes in New York this spring. Rizzi also was a graded stakes winner in New York, taking the Best Turn Stakes (gr. III) and Bold Ruler Handicap (gr. III) in separate years.
