Rocky Bar, a stakes-winning son of In Excess, will stand the 2012 breeding season at E.A. Ranches near Santa Ysabel, Calif. His fee is $2,500.

Formerly standing in Arizona at Triple AAA Ranch, Rocky Bar has sired 15 stakes horses from four crops of racing age. His 10 stakes winners include three-time California graded winner Carlsbad.

Thirteen-year-old Rocky Bar, who is out of the Bold Ego mare To the Post, won the Harry Henson Stakes on turf at Hollywood Park. He placed in six stakes, including the Hollywood Turf Express Handicap (gr. III) and the San Simeon Handicap (gr. III).
