The work tab for Saturday's Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships was still busy Wednesday, with more of the contenders working on grass than on the main track.
Only two Cup horses worked over the main track at Belmont Park, with Alanan timed in :49 for a half mile and Swept Overboard getting three furlongs in :34 3/5.
On turf, the workouts included the Godolphin Racing pair of Noverre and Express Tour. Noverre was timed in 1:01 3/5 for his five furlong effort and Express Tour went the same distance in 1:04 4/5.
Also on grass, Irish Prize went a half-mile in :49 and Kalypso Katie got that distance in :50 1/5.
