Indygo Mountain  , a winning son of A.P. Indy, will stand in 2012 at Clarence Scharbauer Jr.’s Valor Farm near Pilot Point, Texas. His fee is $1,200.

Purchased by Scharbauer for $600,000 at the 2007 Keeneland September yearling sale, Indygo Mountain won a maiden special weight race by 6 1/4 lengths at Churchill Downs at 2 after finishing second at Keeneland in his first start.

Indygo Mountain, who made seven starts in his career, is out of the stakes-winning Mountain Cat mare Mountain Girl, whose half brother Siphonic won the Hollywood Futurity (gr. I) and the Lane’s End Breeders’ Futurity (gr. II). Indygo Mountain’s stakes-placed second dam is a half sister to multiple grade II winner Dixie Dot Com.
