Stakes winner Mr. Mabee was represented by his first winner when his son Mabeemore won at Hoosier Park Oct. 6 in his first start. Racing for William Stiritz, Mabeemore captured a six-furlong maiden special weight race by 4 3/4 lengths in 1:11.60.

Bred in Indiana by Gale Bess’ Lake Shore Farm, Mabeemore is the first winner out of stakes-placed Edith Prickley (by Cape Canaveral).

Mr. Mabee (Storm Cat—Young Flyer, by Flying Paster) stands at Lake Shore near Scottsburg, Ind. His 2011 fee was $2,500.
