Slew's Tiznow  , a dual stakes winner in California, will enter stud in 2012 at Tom and Nancy Clark’s Rancho San Miguel near San Miguel, Calif. A fee has not been decided.

A 6-year-old son of Tiznow  , Slew’s Tiznow was a stakes performer three years. He ran second in the Lane’s End Breeders’ Futurity (gr. I) at Keeneland after breaking his maiden by 4 1/4 lengths at Saratoga. At 3, he set a track record of 1:40.34 in the War Chant Stakes at 1 1/16 miles at Hollywood Park and captured the El Cajon Stakes at Del Mar.

Last year Slew’s Tiznow placed in both the Californian Stakes (gr. II) at Hollywood Park and the Santana Mile Handicap at Santa Anita Park. He was retired with top three finishes in seven of 14 races and earnings of $321,100 while racing as a homebred for Joseph Lacombe Stables.

Slew’s Tiznow, a full brother to grade II winner Slew's Tizzy  , is out of the winning Slewpy mare Hepatica, a half sister to three stakes winners.
