A Thoroughbred pedigree and conformation clinic featuring some of the country's most successful trainers, breeders, and pedigree consultants will be held Oct. 10-11 in Lexington, Ky.
Conformation presentations, live evaluations, and pedigree discussions will be conducted with speakers Dr. Gary Knapp, Dr. Wesley Sutter, Anne Peters, Bill Graves, Cathy Parke, Larry Jones, Donato Lanni, and others. The discussions will cover nicking, dosage, outcrossing and inbreeding. The clinic also will feature tours of Hill ‘n’ Dale Farm, Valkyre Stud and Lexington Equine Surgery and Sports Medicine. The clinic, sponsored by Blood-Horse Publications, begins at 8 a.m. at the Blood-Horse Publications offices at 3101 Beaumont Centre Circle. The registration fee for the clinic is $187.50 for TOBA members and $300 for non-members and includes all support materials, breakfast and lunch. The TOBA member rate reflects a significantly discounted rate in honor of the 50th anniversary of the organization.
This clinic is the last in a series of seven educational seminars and clinics offered by TOBA throughbout the year.
