Bachelor Blues Moved to Hourigan in NM

Grade II winner Bachelor Blues will stand the 2012 breeding season at Chris and Tina Hourigan’s Hourigan Horse Farm near Anthony, N.M. The 10-year-old son of champion sprinter Smoke Glacken   out of the El Prado mare Wedding Day Blues will stand for $1,200.

Bachelor Blues won the Summer Stakes (Can-IIT) and placed in four stakes including the Black Gold Handicap on grass at Fair Grounds and the Toronto Cup Handicap (Can-IIIT). During his career, he finished in the top three in 10 of 29 races and earned $353,019.

Bachelor Blues, who formerly stood at Signature Stallions in Florida, has sired one winner from three starters.
