Tis of Thee First Winner by Patriot Act

Stakes winner Patriot Act   was represented by his first winner when his daughter Tis of Thee took command in the final furlong to win a maiden special weight race at Suffolk Downs Sept. 14. Making her second start, Tis of Thee captured the 5 1/2-furlong race by two lengths in 1:07.96 for Christopher Trakas.

Bred in New York by Topsmeade, Tis of Thee is out of the winning Pancho Villa mare Christavilla, whose dam is stakes winner Tarte Chaude.

Grade I stakes-placed as well as being a stakes winner, Patriot Act (A.P. Indy—Classic Value, by Copelan) stands at Dutchess Views Farm/Metropolitan Stud near Pine Plains, N.Y. His 2011 fee was $3,500.
