Jenny's So Great has a chance to add additional luster to her name as she totes co-high weight of 123 pounds in the $400,000 Presque Isle Downs Masters Stakes (gr. II) Sept. 10. The 4-year-old Ontario-bred daughter of Greatness will take on 14 rivals in only her second start away from Woodbine.

The 6 1/2-furlong Masters at Presque Isle Downs, for fillies and mares, will be run as the ninth race over the Tapeta surface. Post time is 6:20 p.m. EDT.

Jenny’s So Great, who will get the return services of jockey Jesse Campbell, appears ready to run. Her six-furlong workout of :46 4/5 for four furlongs at Woodbine Sept. 3 was tops among the 46 works that morning.

Jenny’s So Great has two stakes wins this year, both on grass. She won the Royal North Stakes (Can-IIIT) Aug. 1 in her last start and took the Zadracarta Stakes two race earlier. In her sole start over Woodbine’s Polytrack this year, she finished second in an optional claimer at 6 1/2 furlongs.

Shotgun Gulch, who will break from post 1 and also carry 123 pounds, is the sole grade I winner in the field. She won the Vinery Madison Stakes (gr. I) at seven furlongs at Keeneland in April three races back. The 4-year-old, Oklahoma-bred Thunder Gulch   filly made her last two starts in graded events but finished off the board in both of them. Luis Quinonez rides.

Beat the Blues, next in the weights at 118 pounds, sports a stakes win and two stakes-placings from six starts this year. The Great Pyramid filly won the Saylorville Stakes at Prairie Meadows and finished second in the Honorable Miss Handicap (gr. II) at Saratoga in her last start.

D'wild Ride is another who goes into the Masters off an added-money win. The 5-year-old D'wildcat   mare, who will be making her first start at Presque Isle, captured the West Virginia Secretary of State Handicap at Mountaineer Park in early August for her fourth career stakes win.

Malibu Win, a 5-year-old Malibu Moon   filly, has raced exclusively this year at Presque Isle. She put together consecutive wins including a score in Northern Fling Stakes at a mile. In her last start, she finished second in an allowance race at 6 1/2 furlongs, beaten a half-length.

Seven-year-old Sweet Lorena, by Langfuhr  , will be making her third straight appearance in the Masters. She finished second to subsequent champion female sprinter Informed Decision in 2009 and third to her in 2010. She has made three starts in August this year at Presque Isle and has placed in all three.

Recent Presque Isle arrival Musical Romance is enjoying her best year ever, sporting six top three finishes in stakes. The Concorde's Tune filly has won three stakes and just missed winning the Princess Rooney Handicap (gr. I) by a neck at Calder Casino & Race Course.

Love That Dance is another with a stakes win this year. By Not For Love  , she captured the restricted Open Mind Handicap at Monmouth Park for the second time in her career. Steady as can be, she has won or placed in 13 career stakes.

Ariana D, another Canadian invader, has run second in four stakes this year at Woodbine, including the Belle Mahone Stakes at 1 1/16 miles Aug. 20. The daughter of Rock Slide had begun her career at Presque Island and has several wins at the track.

The Masters field also consists of Diamond Song (by Unbridled's Song), Divine Sophia (Lightnin N Thunder  ), Kitty in a Tizzy (Tiznow  ), Promised Mandate (Full Mandate), Worstcasescenario (Forbidden Apple), and Waccamaw (War Chant  ).
