Blind Luck, who hasn’t recorded an official work since Aug. 17, is expected to breeze Sept. 7 at Hollywood Park, co-owner and trainer Jerry Hollendorfer said.

Hollendorfer said Blind Luck has been to the track every day since her last work, but he decided not to breeze her because she is not very fond of the Del Mar Polytrack.

“She didn’t like training at Del Mar, and when a horse doesn’t like something you can’t keep making them do it,” he said.

The six-time grade I winner has not raced since beating Havre de Grace by a nose in the July 16 Delaware Handicap (gr. II). Hollendorfer said the 4-year-old daughter of Pollard's Vision   remains on target to make her next start Oct. 1.

Many have assumed it will be in the $250,000 Lady’s Secret (gr. I) at Santa Anita Park, but Hollendorfer left open the possibility he could ship her to New York for the $350,000 Beldame Invitational (gr. I) on the same day.

“She is nominated to the Beldame also,” he said. “I’ll take a look at both races and see which one comes up easier.”

Havre de Grace, who defeated males in the $750,000 Woodward Stakes  (gr. I) Sept. 3, is also pointing toward the 1 1/8-mile Beldame. If the two fillies both go to the Beldame, it would be the seventh time that they would meet.
