Carl McEntee, the newest member of the Northview Stallion Station team, will take the reins as director of bloodstock services immediately for Northview's divisions in both Maryland and Pennsylvania. McEntee joins Northview from Ghost Ridge Farms, where he was instrumental in the acquisition of the stallions at the Pennsylvania nursery.

"I truly enjoyed my time with Ghost Ridge Farms and with the blessing of owner Tarry Bratton, I'm delighted to become a part of Northview and look forward to the bright future that Northview will have," McEntee said.

McEntee, a fifth generation horseman, graduated from Cambridge College in England in 1997 receiving a degree in equine biology and breeding management, as well as an ND from the British National Stud. He was an assistant at Darley’s White Lodge Farm near Newmarket before becoming a manager at Idle Hour Farm near Paris, Ky.

"Carl McEntee will be filling a position on our team that I have been considering for a while now," remarked Richard Golden, president of Northview Stallion Station. "Our industry keeps changing and Northview has to move forward as well. Carl will be our first director of bloodstock services and will expand our bloodstock coverage and also our development in that essential area. Northview believes that our industry is poised to move forward in Maryland and the Pennsylvania program is already a proven achievement. Carl's addition will only strengthen our organization."
