Stonesider , who stands at Highcliff Farm near Delanson, N.Y., was represented by his first winner as a stallion when 2-year-old Goodtime Boy captured the seventh race at Saratoga Race Course Aug. 17 (VIDEO).
Bred and owned by Highcliff Farm owner, Flying Zee Stable, Goodtime Boy won the six-furlong race for New York-bred maidens by a neck. The colt is out of the Elusive Quality mare Babyifurgoodtogo and is trained by Carlos Martin.
An 8-year-old son of Giant's Causeway and the Gilded Time mare Added Gold, Stonesider raced once during his career, taking a 5 ½-furlong maiden special weight event by a head at Belmont Park as a juvenile. He stands for a live foal fee of $3,000 as the property of Magnolia Racing Stable.
