Millionaire Friendly Island was represented by his first winner when Repole Stable’s Victory Island rolled to a four-length victory in a maiden special event at Saratoga Aug. 7 in her career debut.

Trained by Todd Pletcher, the 2-year-old filly out of the Giant's Causeway   mare Victorious Laurie zipped the five furlongs over a sealed muddy track in :58.90.

Bred in New York by Anstu Farm, the filly was purchased by Mike Repole for $60,000 from the Paramount Sales consignment at the 2010 Keeneland September yearling sale.

A son of Crafty Friend, who won eight of 19 starts including the Palos Verdes Handicap (gr. II) and earned $1,369,714, Friendly Island stands at Vinery New York at Sugar Maple in Poughquag, N.Y. His 2011 fee was $3,500.
