Bred in Indiana by Martin Stable, Senor Rain is the second winner from two foals of racing age from the Marquetry mare Make My Marq.
Grade II stakes-placed at Saratoga, El Nino (Storm Cat—Bay Harbor, by Forty Niner) stood at Swifty Farms near Seymour, Ind., prior to being sent to Australia this year.
