Jockey Rosie Napravnik will join the VERSUS network broadcasting crew for the Saturday, Aug. 13, telecast of the $500,000 Sword Dancer Invitational (gr. IT) on turf.
The Sword Dancer coverage from 5-6 p.m. ET is part of the NBC Sports “Summer at Saratoga” live telecasts from Saratoga Racecourse in New York.
The Sword Dancer coverage will be hosted by Laffit Pincay III, alongside analyst Randy Moss. They will be joined by reporters Donna Barton Brothers and the Daily Racing Form’s Jay Privman. VERSUS will take the race call from the Saratoga track announcer Tom Durkin.
In addition to the Sword Dancer, coverage will include two feature stories. One will look at Saratoga as a summer destination and the other will feature the Fasig-Tipton selected yearling sale.
