Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bought a strapping bay colt by Bernardini for $750,000, becoming the first buyer to break the half-million-dollar mark during the second session of the two-day Fasig-Tipton Saratoga select yearling sale Aug. 9.
The colt is out of stakes winner Cologny, a minor stakes winner and graded stakes-placed daughter of Go for Gin.
