A colt by Medaglia d'Oro and a half brother to 2010 Kentucky Derby presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) winner Super Saver sold for $1.2 million to Sheikh Mohammed's bloodstock agent John Ferguson during the opening session of the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select yearling sale Aug. 8.
The colt, named Superfection and out of the A.P. Indy mare Supercharger, was consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency as agent. Besides Super Saver, Supercharger also produced graded stakes winner Brethren.
