Millionaire Colstar and multiple stakes winner The Happy Hopper have been retired to Robert N. Clay's Three Chimneys Farm near Midway, Ky., and are booked to Horse of the Year candidate Point Given, who stands at the farm. Each mare won seven stakes and was retired as a 5-year-old.

Steinman, winning 11 of 18 races and earning $1,053,056 under the care of trainer Paul Fout. Six of her added-money wins came in graded stakes, including the Flower Bowl Invitational Handicap (gr. IT) and consecutive runnings of the Locust Grove Handicap (gr. IIIT).
The Happy Hopper won 12 races and finished second 12 times from 38 starts and earned $801,017 for owners Kerry and Linda Ozment. Bred by Frank Stronach's Adena Springs and trained by Bob Holthus, The Happy Hopper (El Prado--Village Dancer, by Mythical Ruler) won stakes at five different tracks, including Churchill Downs and Keeneland. She won the Pocahontas Stakes at Churchill and accounted for the Indian Summer Stakes at Keeneland.
