Santos Book Signing Scheduled at Saratoga

Hall of Fame jockey Jose Santos and author Bill Heller will be available to autograph "Above It All," the biography of the retired jockey, Aug. 6 at Saratoga.

The signing will take place from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. at the Saratoga Styles store on the first floor of the grandstand adjacent to the carousel. Copies of the book will be available for $30, with proceeds going to the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.

Santos won more than 4,000 races in his career including the Kentucky Derby (gr. I) and Preakness Stakes (gr. I) aboard Funny Cide in 2003. Heller has authored 22 books and is a handicapper for The Daily Gazette.
