The Saratoga jockey colony will take on the Philadelphia Orchestra in a softball game to benefit the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund Aug. 1. The game will be played at the East Side Recreation Field in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. at 7 p.m.
In addition to the game itself, the event will feature cheerleaders, guest celebrity umpires, and other surprises.
The game is sponsored by The New York Racing Association, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Stewarts Shops, and Stuyvesant Plaza.
Admission to the game is $2 with children under 12 free.
