Two-time grade I winner Silver Wagon came through with his first winner when his son D C’s Mission scored at Arapahoe Park July 22. Campaigned by D. Chadwick Calvert, D C’s Mission won the 5 1/2-furlong race by three-quarters of a length in 1:06.92.

Bred in Kentucky by H & E Ranch, D C’s Mission is the third winner out of the stakes-placed Din's Dancer mare Mom’s Day.

Silver Wagon, whose major wins came in the Carter Handicap (gr. I) and the Hopeful Stakes (gr. I), stands at Tom Simon’s Vinery New York near Hudson, N.Y. Silver Wagon (Wagon Limit—So Ritzy, by Darn That Alarm) stood in 2011 for a private fee.
