Hap Works Toward Breeders' Cup Start

Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott had Hap on Belmont's main track this morning for a four-furlong breeze. The son of 1987 Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. IT) winner Theatrical was clocked at :50 1/5.
Hap has won four of five starts this year, most recently defeating eight rivals in Keeneland's Shadwell Mile (gr. IT) Oct. 7. His only blemish this year was a second-place finish behind Silvano in the Arlington Million (gr. IT).
