The Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. has cataloged 772 yearlings for its August yearling sale. The number is down 14.3% from 2010’s total of 901.
The auction will be held Aug. 23-25 in Central Florida. The 172 select yearlings in the catalog will be offered Aug. 23, beginning at 1 p.m. (EDT). The other 600 horses in the book will be offered during open sessions Aug. 24 and 25, starting at 10:30 a.m. each day.
The sale’s catalog can be viewed on the OBS website: www.obssales.com. Conformation photos of the select yearlings will be posted on the website by Aug. 5.
Stallions with offspring in the auction include Pulpit , More Than Ready , Tale of the Cat , Harlan’s Holiday, Exchange Rate , Johannesburg, Cherokee Run, Bernstein, Afleet Alex, Macho Uno , Congrats , Rockport Harbor , and Bluegrass Cat .
