Major international stakes winner Utopia sired the first winner from his first crop when his 2-year-old son No Flaws won a maiden special weight race at Belmont Park July 14. Racing for owner Ralph D’Alessandro, No Flaws won the 5 1/2-furlong race from the outside post in the field of 10 by three-quarters of a length in 1:06.61 (VIDEO).

Bred by D’Alessandro and his wife, No Flaws is the sixth winner from six named foals out of 16-time winner Bedrock (by Rollick ‘n Roll).

Utopia (Forty Niner—Dream Vision, by Northern Taste) was a four-time grade I winner in his native Japan and a group II winner in Dubai. In North America he won the Westchester Handicap (gr. III) in New York. He stands at Joe and Anne McMahon's McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds near Saratoga Springs, N.Y. His 2011 fee was $7,500.
