Canada's best Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships hope, Numerous Times, is 100 percent following a slight illness, and is ready to contest the Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT). The colt turned in a sharp five-furlong workout over Woodbine's sloppy main strip on Tuesday morning. Regular rider, Patrick Husbands, guided the four-year-old son of Numerous over five furlongs in 1:00 1/5.I was very pleased with the work," said trainer Sid Attard. "He went very well. I was a little worried last week, he was a little sick, but he never missed a day of training. Today, he went well and came out of the work very well."Numerous Times, owned by the Committee Stable, won the Atto Mile (Can-I) at Woodbine in September.Attard said the colt has some more work to do before heading across the boarder. "Hopefully, if things go well this week, he'll work again on Monday (October 22) and ship Tuesday (to New York; October 23)."
