John Gosden-trained Mount Abu led a British sweep of the top four places in the Prix de la Foret (Fr-I) at Longchamp on Sunday. The 16-1 longshot upset Godolphin's China Visit (by Red Ransom), with Warningford third and Nicobar fourth in the 11-horse field.
Mount Abu was prominent throughout the seven furlong race contested over very soft going and assumed the lead from front-running China Visit with an eighth of a mile remaining.
A 4-year-old son of Foxhound, Mount Abu will now likely be shipped to Sha Tin for the Hong Kong Mile in December.
``His last run (a sixth in the Diadem Stakes) is best forgotten as he bruised a foot on that occasion,'' Gosden said.
