There were 11 winning tickets for the record-setting Pick 6 at Belmont Park June 15, with each ticket paying $308,963.
The New York Racing Association said $4,103,130 was bet into the Pick 6 pool which, when added to the $1,130,718 carryover, created the largest total Pick 6 pool in NYRA history: $5,233,848.
The June 15 Pick 6 handle of $4,103,130 was the largest non-Breeders’ Cup single-day pool in NYRA history, and third-largest overall. The 2001 Breeders’ Cup Pick 6 pool at Belmont was $4,811,450, while the 2005 Breeders’ Cup Pick 6 pool at Belmont was $4,586,699.
Previously, the largest non-Breeders’ Cup Pick 6 handle was $3,301,873, which occurred June 9, 2010, at Belmont.
Winners in the sequence were Clear Attempt ($4.50), Must Be Love ($9.60), Prince of Danger ($9.20), Ms Stilletto ($5.40), Hooligan’s Delight ($52.50), and Copious Notes ($9.80).
