Hat Trick  , a Japanese-bred group I winner, came through with his first winner when his son Dabirsim won by 10 lengths at La Teste de Buch in France June 8. The French-bred colt captured the race, just short of six furlongs, in 1:13.05 in his first start.

Dabirsim is a half brother to stakes winner Preferred Yield and is the fourth winner from five foals of racing age from the Royal Academy mare Rumored, who was sent to France from North America while carrying Dabirsim.

Hat Trick (Sunday Silence--Tricky Code, by Lost Code) was a group I winner in Japan and Hong Kong and a champion miler in Japan. He stands for $6,000 at John T.L Jones III’s Walmac International near Lexington.
