European Runners Ship To Belmont

Fantastic Light, Arc d'Triomphe winner Sahkee and Noverre will ship tomorrow from England to Belmont Park, where they will compete in the Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships Oct. 27th, said Adrian Beaumont, director of racecourse services for the International Racing Bureau.
Fantastic Light, who defeated Galileo in the Irish Champion Stakes (Ire-I), is expected to rematch that one and take on Jockey Club Gold Cup (gr. I) winner Aptitude in the $4 million Breeders' Cup Classic at a 1 1/4 miles.
Sahkee, winner of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (Fr-I), originally was pointed for the Champion Stakes at Newmarket Oct. 20th, but will now run in the $2 million Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. IT) but will also be nominate to the Classic.
Noverre will nominate to the $1 million Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT).
The three horses are expected to arrive at Belmont Park between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., and then will go into quarantine for between 36 and 48 hours.
