Robert and Barbara Walter have relocated the stallions Slewvescent and Robannier to Rick and Kathy Taylor's Special T Thoroughbreds near Temecula, Calif. The two stallions formerly stood at Alex Trebek's Creston Farms near Creston, Calif.
Thirteen-year-old Slewvescent (Seattle Slew--Our Mims, by Herbager) has sired four stakes winners, including millionaires Tout Charmant and Lazy Slusan. The latter has scored grade I wins in this year's Santa Margarita Invitational and Milady Breeders' Cup Handicaps. Slewvescent stands for $5,000.
Robannier (Batonnier--Home From the Fair, by Northern Dancer) is the sire stakes winner Rosanda, who was produced from a Slewvescent mare. Ten-year-old Robannier stands for $2,000.
