After Market Represented by First Winner

Multiple grade I winner After Market   was represented by his first winner when Bette’s Aftershock won his career debut at Lone Star Park May  26 (VIDEO). The Florida-bred colt, produced from the War Chant   mare Winsome, raced the five furlongs in :59 1/5 in maiden special weight company.

Bette’s Aftershock is trained by Francisco Bravo for Dale Shenian, who purchased the bay colt for $30,000 from the River Oaks consignment to this year’s Fasig-Tipton Texas spring 2-year-olds in training sale.  Bette’s Aftershock was bred by Milan Kosanovich.

The winner of six graded stakes, including the Charles Whittingham Memorial (gr. IT) and Eddie Read Handicap (gr. IT), After Market stands at Lane’s End Farm near Versailles, Ky., for a 2011 fee of $7,500.
