A memorial for jockey Michael Baze will be held immediately after the races Thursday, June 2 at Hollywood Park.
All those wishing to honor Baze, who passed away May 10 at the age of 24, are invited to attend. The tribute will be held in the Sunset Room.
Baze was the leading rider at Hollywood’s spring/summer meet in 2007, the youngest jockey to accomplish the feat since Bill Shoemaker won the title at 19 in 1950.
