Kentucky Derby Presented Yum! Brands (gr. I) winner Animal Kingdom was installed as the 2-1 favorite when the morning line was set, but Dialed In (9-2 morning line) was taking almost as much money. Dialed In finished eighth in the Derby as the beaten favorite.

Mucho Macho Man was also being well-backed as the 5-1 third choice. As of 2 p.m. EDT, every other horse was double-digit odds.
