Street Sense Filly Among Fastest F-T Workers A Street Sense filly worked the fastest eighth of a mile, turning in a time of :10 May 19 over Timonium’s dirt track, during the second session of the under tack show for the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic sale of 2-year-olds in training in Maryland. Consigned by Sequel Bloodstock, agent, the bay juvenile is out of the grade III-placed Forestry mare Stoic, who won twice, and is a half sister to Peruvian champion Ole Pegasus (by Fusaichi Pegasus ). Four horses were the quickest breezers at a quarter mile, each posting a time of :21 4/5. They were an Any Given Saturday – Savannah Bayou filly, consigned by Pike Racing, agent; a Read the Footnotes – Shanni filly, consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, agent; a Corinthian – T. K. O. Lady colt, consigned by de Meric Sales, agent; and an Empire Maker – Ashley Hall filly, consigned by Eddie Woods, agent for Daybreak Stables. A Forest Grove – Asheville colt set the pace at three furlongs, turning in a time of :33 4/5. Pike Racing, agent, is his consignor. The auction will be held May 23 and 24, with each session beginning at 10 a.m. (EDT) at the Timonium Sales Pavilion.
