KEEP to Host Telephone Town Hall Meeting

KEEP to Host Telephone Town Hall Meeting

The Kentucky Equine Education Project and Corey Johnsen, the organization’s new chairman, will host a telephone town hall meeting May 18 at 7:00 p.m. EDT.

Johnsen will discuss updates related to Instant Racing and its potential impact on racing purses and non-race breeds; proposed changes to the Kentucky Breeders' Incentive Fund; current and future KEEP initiatives; and other horse industry-related topics.

Participants in the tele-town hall meeting will be able to listen to Johnsen's discussion and ask specific questions.

The town hall meeting is open to the public. Those wishing to participate should call in to the meeting at 877-229-8493 (a toll-free number) and when prompted enter access code 18283.

The town hall meeting is expected to last approximately 45 minutes.
