The Washington Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Association's 45th annual summer sale will once again be held the day after Labor Day, Tuesday, Sept. 6, at the Morris J. Alhadeff Sales Pavilion and WTBOA offices located at Emerald Downs in Auburn, Wash.

As it was in last year, this year's sale will combine a summer yearling session, along with a mixed session -- which will include other yearlings, as well as broodmares, weanlings, horses of racing age and stallion shares.

Among the sale’s graduates are multiple grade I stakes winner Smiling Tiger; grade II winner Atta Boy Roy (a three-time Washington champion); and City to City. Additional Washington champions to come out of the sale include Couldabenthewhisky, Lady Golightly, and Slew the Man.
