TOBA to Conduct Ownership Seminar

The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association will conduct a Thoroughbred Ownership Seminar Thursday, May 5, at the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville. The seminar, sponsored by Blood-Horse Publications, will feature discussions on industry business issues, options for acquiring horses including partnerships, auctions, and claiming as well as a discussion about veterinary topics. The seminar will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will include breakfast, lunch, sponsored by Coolmore America, and an afternoon of racing at Churchill Downs.

The registration fee for the seminar is $56 for TOBA members and $100 for non-members and includes all support materials, admission to the track and meals. A representative of the National Racing Compact will also be available to assist owners with the licensing process. TOBA members will receive a discounted application fee.
