Eldaafer, winner of the 2010 Breeders’ Cup Marathon (gr. III), was entered in a $27,000 starter allowance race Saturday, April 30 at Atlantic City Race Course. The 6-year old marathon specialist will compete in the 12-horse field running one mile and 40 yards on the turf in his third start of the season

Alghuwayriyah Stable’s won the BC Marathon by 1 3/4 lengths last November. The gelded son of A.P. Indy was off the board in both of his Gulfstream Park stakes starts to begin his 2011 campaign. Jose Valdivia Jr. will have the mount for trainer Diane Alvarado.

The 2011 Turf Festival at Atlantic City Race Course opens Thursday, April 28 and continues through Tuesday, May 3. First post daily is 3:30 p.m.
