Jockey John Rochabrun was taken to Baylor Medical Center at Irving, Texas for further examination after he sustained an apparent right ankle injury when his mount Hes Rich reared in the starting gate prior to the running of the third race at Lone Star Park on April 22 night card.
A release from the track did not provide additional details about the injury or whether Hes Rich sustained any injuries in the incident on the opening night card.
