Weather Warning Sires First Winner

First-crop sire Weather Warning was represented by his first winner when his first starter, Everyday Dave, won at Keeneland April 8. Everyday Dave, a gelding, set the pace in the 4 1/2-furlong race to win as the odds-on favorite by 2 1/4 lengths in :51.14 (VIDEO). Everyday Dave races for his trainer, Wesley Ward, and Ice Wine Stable.

Bred in Ontario, Canada, by Dream With Me Stables, Everyday Dave is the first foal out of French stakes winner Numerieus (by Numerous).

Weather Warning (Storm Cat—City Band, by Carson City) was a stakes winner in Canada and stakes-placed at Turfway Park. He stands for $2,000 at Brunacini Farms near Belen, N.M.
