Zenyatta, last year’s Horse of the Year for Jerry and Ann Moss, is no longer in foal. She was bred to Bernardini   Feb. 23 at Darley near Lexington.

Zenyatta is boarded at William S. Farish’s Lane’s End Farm near Versailles, Ky.

“She came up empty on a 35-day check,” said Lane’s End farm manager Mike Cline. "It happens, and it’s unfortunate. It’s just one of those things. It’s not unusual. She’s happy and healthy. Hopefully, we’ll get her right back in foal.”

Seven-year-old Zenyatta (Street Cry—Vertigineux, by Kris S.) will be bred again to Bernardini.
