One hundred thirty horses are pre-entered for the 16th running of the Maryland Million on Saturday, October 13 at Pimlico Race Course. The 11-race card with purses of $1.05 million showcases the best products of Maryland breeding farms and horses sired by Maryland stallions.

Three horses are back to defend their titles, including Testing, the Maryland Million Classic champion as a seven-year old. Caveat's Shot won the 2000 Maryland Million Ladies, while Cynics Beware took home last year's Maryland Million Turf.
