Hip #265, colt; Flatter - Silence Please by Quiet American worked a quarter in :20 3/5 at the Ocala Breeders' Sales Co. March select sale of 2-year-olds in training in Central Florida.

A Dixie Union filly and a Flatter   colt were the fastest workers at a quarter mile March 12 during the second and final session of the under tack show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. March select sale of 2-year-olds in training in Central Florida. They each covered the distance in :20 3/5, which was quicker than the fastest clocking of :21 1/5 posted by Latent Heat and Forest Wildcat fillies over the OBS track’s synthetic Safetrack surface March 11 during the under tack show’s first session.

The Dixie Union filly is out of the stakes-placed winning mare Big City Dream (by Horatius) and is a half sister to the stakes-placed winner Baena (by El Prado). Big City Dream is a half sister to the added-money winner Big City Bound (by Shelter Half) and Wantyoutowantme, the dam of added-money winner What’s Up Lonely (by Allen's Prospect).

The Flatter colt is a half brother to stakes winner Sky Music (by Sky Mesa  ). Their dam is the unraced Quiet American mare Silence Please, who is a half sister to added-money winner Give Notice (by Known Fact).

Eisaman Equine is the consignor of both the Dixie Union filly and the Flatter colt.

Fillies by Bob and John  , Henny Hughes, and Yes It's True   set the pace at an eighth of a mile, stopping the clock in :9 4/5. The time equaled the fastest eighth of a mile time recorded during the first session of the under tack show by a Scat Daddy colt.

Consigned by Hoppel’s Horse and Cattle Co., agent, the Bob and John filly is out of the grade II-placed winner Chirmoya (by Cobra King) and is a half sister to the winners Determined Gal (by Holy Bull), Inthethickofit (by Yes It’s True), and Torched Cherry (by Silver Deputy). Chirmoya is a half sister to stakes winner Fortune n’ Fame (by Northern Park).

Consigned by Jerry Bailey Sales Agency, agent, the Henny Hughes filly is out of the unraced Coronado’s Quest mare Val Marie and is a half sister to Canadian grade II winner Grand Adventure (by Grand Slam). Other family members include grade I winners Lakeway, Mushka, and Saratoga Six and European group I winner Dunbeath.

Consigned by Harris Training Center, agent, the Yes It’s True filly is out of the winning Summer Squallmare Sunrise Summer and is a half sister to the winner Candy Squall (by Najran). Other family members include grade II winner Sunny Sunrise.

The OBS March sale will be held March 15 and 16, with each session beginning at 11 a.m. (EDT).
