San Vicente (gr. II) winner The Factor  , worked a mile March 12 in preparation for his two-turn debut in the March 19 Rebel Stakes (gr. II) at Oaklawn Park.

The son of War Front   – Greyciousness, by Miswaki went in 1:38 2/5 with jockey Martin Garcia aboard after going the first three-quarters in 1:12 2/5, while working from the six-furlong pole past the wire to the six-furlong pole.

“He was really nice and relaxed the whole way around there,” trainer Bob Baffert said. “He’s starting to mature and was just cruising around there. He did it the right way, so we’re all set for Oaklawn.”

The Factor, who is owned by George Bolton and Fog City Stable, will leave for Oaklawn on Wednesday.
