Jeremy Edge has announced plans to walk 190 miles from Belmont Park to Saratoga Racecourse to raise awareness and funds for two equine charities.

Edge, who is from London, England, and was formerly an elected official for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, is currently a regular contributor for HRTV.

Edge is undertaking the trek to raise awareness and funding for the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund and for Anna House, the early childhood education center sustained by Belmont Child Care Association that benefits children of backstretch workers at Belmont Park.

Edges’s walk will begin on June 12, 2011 and is scheduled to take two weeks to complete.
