Mares have been confirmed in foal to all three of Spendthrift Farm's new stallions for 2011, including grade I winners Warrior's Reward and Line of David , as well as graded stakes winner Temple City .
The first in-foal mare reported for Warrior's Reward is Brandywine Farm's Papalma, a Dixieland Band mare and the dam of multiple graded stakes winner Aggie Engineer. Line of David, the reigning Arkansas Derby (gr. I) winner, had his first mare confirmed pregnant when Belvedere Farm's Maggie's Pearle checked in foal. And Del Mar track record-holder Temple City got his first in-foal mare confirmed by breeder Sally Thomas, whose Grand Spirit, a Rahy mare from the direct family of Include , recently checked in foal.
Warrior's Reward stands for $15,000, Line of David for $7,500, and Temple City for $5,000.
