Birdonthewire, Friendly Lover to Adena South

Two Adena Springs stallions will return to the operation's Ocala, Fla., farm for the 2002 breeding season. Birdonthewire (Proud Birdie -- Silk and Wrapper, by Jontilla), who stood at Adena Springs in Canada the past two years, will stand for $3,000. He is the sire of four crops of racing age and is represented by five stakes winners. He stood at the Florida farm from 1996 to 1999.
Friendly Lover (Cutlass -- Glide Along, by Great Above) has two crops of racing age and has sired four stakes winners. He stood at Adena Spring's Kentucky farm this year and will stand for $5,000. He stood at the Florida farm from 1997-2000. Adena Springs is owned by Frank Stronach.
