Favored Queen's Logic romped in the group I Shadwell Stud Cheveley Park Stakes Tuesday at Newmarket, while Sophisticat, a 2-year-old filly by Storm Cat out of Serena's Song, checked in second, seven lengths back. Good Girl was third.
Trained by Mick Channon, Queen's Logic was listed as the 5-2 favorite for next year's One-Thousand Guineas, Sporting Life reported. Queen's Logic is now a three-time stakes winner.
The six-furlong Cheveley Park was run on a soft course in 1:12.34.
Sophisticat, owned by Michael Tabor and Mrs. John Magnier, was bred by Bob and Beverly Lewis, who campaigned the champion filly Serena's Song. Sophisticat was third in the group I Moyglare Stud Stakes at The Curragh in her previous start.
